You gave her life, you made her smile, you wiped her tears, you comforted her! You told her you were her best friend forever and she didnt need anyone else. We had our moments, but i was so proud to have you as her dad, she is strughling to piece it together, i owe you so much for giving me her, she was our blessing. I pray the Lord your soul to keep and I hope I do you proud and raise our daughter the way you wanted her to be, with love and compassion in her heart! You left a mark on her, the strength she is showing, i now know where she gets it from. I am so proud of the battle you put up with such an awful disease that only took my dad 9 months ago. You faced it head on and never once gave up and all because you wanted to see her grow. As much as we will forver both miss you, to know you are out of this cruel world and with the Lord, out of pain and suffering is a small comfort. As I write these words Abigail is drying the tears from my eyes that are falling. I will miss the laughs we had, the moments we shared together for Abi’s first times and the pride she had that we were her parents especially you, she had to show everyone who her ‘Dada’ was! Take your rest Zak your time on earth is done but continue to watch over her…. she will grow up to be that woman you wanted her to be, that is my promise to you!
